Project Description
Nike's goal was to create a meaningful book or books that would raise awareness of the medical and educational breakthroughs happening to defeat AIDS in Africa. The book set became a powerful way to illustrate both "Educate" (the soccer programs that are teaching young people about prevention) and "Medicate" (the powerful new anti-retroviral medications that are giving people with HIV and AIDS longer, healthier lives). Our hope was that we could create a powerful synergy between storytelling, imagery, personal stories and statistics to bring a staggeringly hopeful message that would help readers get involved in helping to solve this crisis. The book set included a case, DVD and pair of (NIKE)RED laces (that donates money to the REDTM campaign with every purchase).
